Conviction and Arrest of Mr. Bowman Lusambo for Unlawful Wounding
Lusaka, November 1, 2024 – In a significant legal development, Mr. Bowman Lusambo has been convicted in absentia by the Luanshya Magistrate Court for unlawful wounding. Following this conviction, the court issued a bench warrant for his arrest to ensure compliance with the law.
In response to the court's directives, the Zambia Police Service initiated an urgent search for Mr. Lusambo. Law enforcement officers successfully apprehended him today at his residence, where he was discovered hiding in the ceiling.
The Zambia Police Service is dedicated to upholding justice and enforcing the law without bias. Mr. Lusambo is currently in police custody and will be presented in court as mandated by the bench warrant.
