🇿🇲 POLICE SAY REMAINS OF ONE MORE SENSELI MINE ACCIDENT VICTIM RETRIEVED

POLICE on the Copperbelt say remains of one more Senseli mine accident victim have been retrieved.

Copperbelt Province police commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba says the retrieval of the bones of the unidentified victim brings the total number of those retrieved to 27.

In December last year, over 30 miners were trapped at different points at COP A open pit in Chingola, popularly known as Senseli mine after heavy rains flooded the holes in which the victims were trying to dig copper.

Only one person was retrieved alive, four days after the accident happened.
