Supreme Court Judge JONES CHINYAMA has retired.
Justice CHINYAMA has opted for early retirement having attained 65 years.
He ascended to the Supreme Court's bench on March 22, 2016.
Justice CHINYAMA is a seasoned legal practitioner, having been appointed to the Supreme Court on March 22, 2016.
Prior to his appointment as a Supreme Court Judge, Justice CHINYAMA served as the Chairperson of the Industrial Relations Court in LUSAKA.
His tour of duty in the Judiciary began in 1987, as a Lay Magistrate at various Subordinate courts across the country.
Justice CHINYAMA later served in various ranks as Resident, Senior Resident Magistrate and Principal Resident Magistrate.
He holds a bachelor of Law from the University of Zambia and was admitted to the bar in 2000.
