Amid demands for the public not to drop guard against cholera, Lusaka residents are concerned about the erratic water supply and inadequate sanitation in various communities.
Others believe that while individuals play an important part in preserving hygiene, the government should provide the required services to minimize excessive cholera cases and fatalities.
Meanwhile, United Health and Allied Workers Union of Zambia Vice President Maxwell Chisase says despite a decline in the number of cholera cases recorded recently, the government should continue to enforce measures that ensure sanity across the country.
